Agoprene started with a pretty basic question:

Why does foam have to be made from oil?

We didn’t have all the answers, just a hunch that there had to be a better way. So in 2020, we rolled up our sleeves in a student kitchen, messed around with seaweed, and slowly built something that actually worked.

Now we produce high-performing foam from natural materials. It’s soft, sturdy, and way friendlier to the planet.

Our first focus is furniture foam, but we’re just getting started. We work closely with manufacturers, designers, and other brilliant people to create materials that are both practical and future-proof.

We’re not here to greenwash the same old stuff or make single-use materials. We’re here to build something new from the ground up, something that will last at least a few decades.

And we’re excited to see where it goes.
